Community, Connection, Creative Practice
July 7, 2025This July, I’m partnering with the City of Kwinana and Koorliny Arts Centre to deliver a series of creative programs focused on photography, storytelling, and community connection.
Having lived in Kwinana for over a decade, I’m excited to return and engage with local audiences through a mix of public workshops, an artist talk, and the remounting of my video work A Path of Fleeting Dreams.
Exhibition – A Path of Fleeting Dreams
Koorliny Arts Centre
Wednesday 23 July – Tuesday 29 July
A Path of Fleeting Dreams is an intimate video work exploring themes of migration, memory, and adaptation. Originally shown as part of Veiled in a Golden Hue at Goolugatup Heathcote in 2024, this work draws on my mother’s journey from the Philippines to regional Western Australia and invites reflection on how identity is shaped across generations.
