I’m grateful to share that my work has been awarded First Time Finalist Award in the 2025 National Photographic Portrait Prize.

This portrait, Mother Dreams on a Stone, honours my mum’s story - capturing her resting under a gold emergency blanket with her head against a tumbled stone. The work reflects on memory, migration, and resilience, and I’m glad it has found resonance with others.

The exhibition of finalists is now open at the National Portrait Gallery, and I’m proud to be included alongside so many strong photographers.
