In A path of fleeting dreams, Quiambao explores consumerism through the family experience. This video reflects on her mother's migration from the Philippines to regional Australia, driven by aspirations of financial security, influenced by societal and familial pressures. A female performer, wearing my mother's terno (traditional Filipino dress), navigates a minimal set filled with familiar household objects. Her interactions symbolise the comforts and noise accompanying the pursuit of a new life in a foreign land.
